Portuguese Cultural Centre
Great facility. We used it for a Carnaval with over 300 people. Great kitchen, bar, stage, bathrooms. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Vancouver Mural Festival
This is one of the best-run festivals in Vancouver; plenty for everyone to see and do. Lots of art and music for everyone, activities for kids, food and drinks for adults. Even the sponsors have fun stuff.

Transylvania Club
been to quite a few Transylvania event Octoberfests with friends and family and previously it has been great but this year's was terrible. Food was cold, games a joke, new event location was a factory with no personality. 30 minute long lineups for drinks. $10 for parking, way overcrowded and impersonal. MC thought he was a club DJ from NYC, couldn't see the band or dancers. Paid a ton more money than previous years and still waiting for a refund on the cashless account. Won't be back...

We had an event here for a private party with approximately 100 people. The facility was a perfect size for that many for supper with a dance floor. The kitchen area was convenient with a warming oven and a walk-in refrigerator. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

When I woke up it had lots of bed bugs and the beds are bad I had to stay up all night, my baby found a bed bug on her and she was terrified of bugs so I don't recommend sleeping there

I went there to teach an ESL class as an intern and the people there were very helpful. I have a great time shadowing another teacher, who was helpful and showed me the daily routines of being an English Language Teacher.
